Captain Dana is a Captain with years of deep sea fishing experience; he has been fishing offshore in the Atlantic and Pacific ocean since the mid-sixties. Our staff has many years of experience fishing the Florida Keys - from the Big Pine Fishing Lodge. We catch fish!

The Captain is also experienced in charter fishing in San Diego, Mexico, New Jersey and Kona, Hawaii.

You can fish the beautiful waters of the Florida Keys aboard The Screaming Eagle from September 1st until August 1st. The vessel is Coast Guard approved and insured. Captain Dana is a member of the North American Fishing Association, the National Association of Charter Boat Operators, and the Lower Keys Chamber of Commerce.

The Screaming Eagle is a 25ft center console equipped with GPS, VHS, radio and cell phone.  She is rigged for off shore fishing with Shimano and Penn equipment that is maintained to perfection.  We specialize in off shore fishing for Wahoo, Tuna, Sailfish and Mahi Mahi (dolphin). Tarpon fishing trips are available in the lower Florida Keys during May, June and July.  It only takes 30 minutes to get from our dock at the Big Pine Key Fishing Lodge to the blue water in good sea conditions.  Your charter includes boat, rod and reel, bait, tackle and ice.

We can assure you of a stress free, fun filled, exciting, comfortable and safe day of deep sea or tarpon fishing for the avid fisherperson or the family.

Snorkel Trips to Looe Key

We also offer snorkel trips to the beautiful underwater sanctuary of Looe Key where you can swim with sergeant majors, yellow tail snapper, barracuda, and many other species of sea life.  View the colorful coral reef with its many hidden treasures such as a variety of starfish and octopus hidden in its many crevices.  See the brain coral and sponges and various plants dancing in the current.
